Meets every week from 6.15pm-10.00pm on every Wednesday at The Phillimore Centre, Radlett, Hertfordshire.
The principal aim of the Society is help owners, experienced or otherwise, with the all important socialisation of their puppies coupled with some basic obedience techniques for owners to practise, working towards their dogs maturing into friendly, sociable and trustworthy pets which they can be proud of.
Their evenings training starts about 6.15pm for the puppies, lasting an hour. The rest of the evening is divided into two more groups, one for those wishing to progress to a more advanced level of obedience and a final group for handlers and dogs involved in competition obedience.
Junior handlers can sometimes be accomodated by arrangement, re-homed and older dogs can also be accepted but this is dependent upon a non aggressive temperament. Some help can also be given with general behaviour problems by arrangement.
The Society is affiliated to the Kennel Club and their trainers are experienced and qualified as competitors, handlers, judges and above all, instructors.
Date of AGM: April.
