The club was established nearly 30 years ago and has been under the present management since 1989. The Club is on the Kennel Club's Good Citizen Dog Scheme Register and provides classes which incorporate the Scheme's nationally recognised syllabus.

The club meets on Mondays from 7.00pm to 10.15pm at the Long Marston Village Hall, Long Marston, Nr Tring.

Aims of the Club:
1. To encourage responsible dog ownership and to advise on the wider aspects of dog ownership.
2. To help dog owners to train their own dogs to be happy,well-behaved pets that will be welcome wherever they go.
3. To help dog owners to understand their pets and thereby develop a closer bond with them.

* Puppies and Adult dogs of all ages and most breeds welcome.
* Four classes, (from basic pet training and problem solving through to Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog tests and/or obedience competition level if required).
* Qualified instructors with at least 20 years dog training experience who also successfully train their own pet dogs.
* 8 week introductory course 7.00pm-8.30pm. Other class details upon application.
* A current vaccination certificate must be shown before any dog is admitted.
