The Centre is located off the B181 in Broadley Common, near Nazeing in Essex.
The Ada Cole Memorial Stables became part of Redwings Horse Sanctuary in October 2005 following a merger, but it is one with a long history in the world of equine welfare.
There are more than 50 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules to visit at the site, with five who are available for adoption, including Misfit the cheeky Shetland and Boo the handsome Arab. Some are permanent residents while some are being rehabilitated with a view to finding them caring guardians through the Redwings re-homing scheme.
The Centre has an Information and Welcome centre plus gift shop and there are tours and demonstrations taking place throughout the season.
The Centre is open every day from 10.00am to 5.00pm all year round. Entry is free of charge and we know our residents would love to meet you.
