Gilwell Park, on the edge of Epping Forest, North London, is a 108-acre woodland estate offering unparalleled flexibility, outdoor activities, accommodation and conference facilities. Welcoming guests from all backgrounds. Gilwell Park is recognised as a superb venue for meetings, training, team building and other corporate events.
It is sometimes said that Gilwell Park is four venues in one. After all, where else can you scale a 22 mile metre climbing tower, jump in a canoe, hold a meeting in a purpose built conference suits and enjoy overnight accommodation in a fully restored Grade 2 listed hotel?
Conference – Meeting rooms are set up prior to your conference with bottled water, flip charts and IT or AV requirements you have specified. Our two main venues are The White House – a 17th century Grade 2 listed building sympathetically restored to offer the most up to date facilities, and The Colquhoun International Centre. The CIC is a large purpose built conference and training centre housing a main hall, five seminar rooms and six training suites; perfect for large scale events and training requiring both plenary and small group work.
From self-service to silver service – Part of the attraction of Gilwell Park is our catering. Whether you require formal or informal dining, our excellent restaurant offers everything from self-service to silver service and a wide choice of menu. Continental or full English breakfast is served each morning.
Accommodation – Each year, some 7,000 people make use of our overnight accommodation and the feedback they receive is excellent. We are pleased to offer 41 double, twin and single room in The White House. These are en-suite and equipped with colour television, power shower, tea, coffee and biscuits.
Special events – Gilwell Park also provides the perfect setting for special events; we are able to transform our large conference hall with a large indoor marquee for an entirely weatherproof event. We also specialise in weddings with a twist; recent events have featured barn dances and outdoor summer barbeques as well as plenty of good old fashioned wedding receptions!
