Whitensmere Farm Cottages (Saffron Walden)

There are 3 self-contained cottages to chose from, each comfortably furnished and equipped with colour TV, video, radio, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, storage heaters and a fire alarm. All towels and linen (except cots) are provided, together with games, books and toys, and a basket of logs for the fire.

The Cottages are cared for personally by the owners, who live in adjacent farmhouse and can provide farmhouse meals and baby-sitting by arrangement.

They are situated in the countryside of Cambridgeshire and are coverted 18th century farm buildings clustered around an attractive south-facing courtyard garden. Each cottage has its own private patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. The amenities include a games room with pool table, darts and other entertainments and a separate children's play area with a wendy house, swings, a climbing frame and other items including trikes and toys for toddlers. A great attraction for all ages if the 'pets corner', which houses donkeys, pigs and other appealing animals.
