Wymondley Wood is open throughout the year to members of the Scout and Guide movement, other youth organisations and schools.
The centre has accommodation for up to 42 people in seven dormitories. It has central heating throughout and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a tuck shop (open as required) which stocks drinks, confectionery, badges, gifts and postcards. Facilities for the disabled.
The camping area covers approximately 4 acres, parts of which are pleasantly shaded by trees in a rural atmosphere, adjacent to a conservation area.
The centre has full toilet facilities for males and females, hot and cold water and showers. There are full facilities for campers.
