Woodman Inn, The (Nuthampstead)

The Woodman, a 17th Century inn has many fine features: the first most noticeable being the well maintained bar, which is warm and friendly, with an open fire and beams, serving real ales and other popular drinks.

A recently built extension includes a spacious restaurant and disabled facilities. Our Chef Paul Maguire, is serving an exciting and ever changing menue of freshly prepared food in both our restaurant and bar. Daily specials and Sunday lunch are also available.

Accommodation at the Woodman includes twin, single bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. A double bedroom with private bathroom. We are now Quality Assured to AA 3 Star Guest Accommodation.

Local facilities include an international standard Olympic clay shooting ground, a golf course, grass landing strip for light aircraft (by appointment arranged through The Woodman). Duxford Imperial War Museum is fifteen minutes drive and Cambridge thirty minutes. We are also 30 minutes from Stansted airport.
