Preston is a small, pretty village in the county of Hertfordshire. Peaceful and quiet, there is a population of around 300 people and it is surrounded by hilly and wooded countryside. The nearby market town of Hitchin is of historic interest, four miles from the village and can be reached by bus.

Preston itself has a cricket field and pavillion, church, village hall, and a pub called The Red Lion, situated on the village green.

Ideal for a peaceful stay, but also for journeys to London (40 minutes by train from Hitchin), the village is also within easy reach of the A1M, M1, and M25, and London Luton Airport, thus ideal for those wishing to travel around the Country and/or fly to most European Countries.
