Places for People Homes (Chilterns)

Places for People Homes , previously known as North British Housing Association, is a subsidiary of the Places for People Group. It is a registered social landlord and has responsibility for over 55,000 homes from Edinburgh to the Isle of Wight. As a major developer of new social housing, it has financial support from both the public and private sectors.

This area office covers the Chilterns region. The Chilterns region includes Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

Properties available for rent include flats, houses and bungalows for families, single people and the elderly. Some houses and flats are available for shared ownership, aimed at first time buyers who cannot afford to buy outright.

In Hertfordshire, properties are available in Borehamwood, Watford, Harpenden, Hertford Heath, Cottered, Redbourn, Braughing, St Albans and Kimpton.

The Places for People Group includes four other companies, one of which, Places for People individual support, is a charitable arm established to manage care and supported housing.
