Carr-Gomm is a national charity providing housing service and support to people across England, many of whom have learning disabilities, mental health problems or some other disability.

Within Hertfordshire, Carr-Gomm provides:

3 Supported housing schemes (shared or self-contained) for people with alcohol related problems. The supported housing has floating/visiting support with an alarm / on call system and is for single people of all age groups. Referrals to this service can be made through:

* St Albans and Harpenden Primary Care Trust
* Citizens Advice Bureau
* St Albans District Council. Housing Dept
* Probation service
* Self-referral
* Hertfordshire County Council. Adult Care Services.
