Shelter Hertfordshire

Shelter aims to prevent and alleviate homelessness.

Shelter gives free, confidential, impartial and independent housing advice, assistance and advocacy to anyone who is homeless or has a housing related problem.

Shelter Hertfordshire is a Specialist Quality Mark holder for Housing Advice under Community Legal Services.

Office opening times Mon-Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm. Please call to make an appointment.

St Albans Services surgeries:
* Tuesday 10.00am-1.00pm - Dropin at St Albans District Council, St Peters Street;
* Thursday 10.00am-1.00pm - CAB, London Road, St Albans (appointment via CAB 01727 811118);

Court Desk Service:
* Watford County Court
Every Tuesday (rent) and 3rd Monday (mortgage) of the month 9.30am - 1.15pm;

* St. Albans County Court
1st Tues (rent) and 2nd Tues (mortgage) of the month 10.00am - 1.00pm;

* Hertford County Court
1st Wed of every month 10.00am - 1.00pm (rent) 2.00pm - 4.00pm (mortgage).
