The JFRA was formed to provide a focal point for the local community and to ensure that amenities are maintained and problems which might affect the Estate are addressed. This includes liaising with both the Parish Council and St Albans District Council.
The Association runs the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme for the Estate.
Annual events include a Bonfire Party and a children's Christmas party. The JFRA is also involved in local environmental issues, including the Woodland Park.
Annual subscription is currently £2 which includes quarterly editions of the local newsletter.
Committee meetings are held on the first Monday in the month.
