Work, groups and sub groups

The Learning Disability Partnership Board is co-chaired by Cathy Kerr, Assistant Director Learning Disability and Mental Health, and Richard Blake, service user.
The job of the Board is to make plans so that services for people with learning disabilities get better.
The group meets every two months on the 2nd Thursday from 10:00am till 3:00pm.
People on the board represent many services and jobs.
Some individuals work with people with learning disabilities, for example managers from Adult Care Services, Hertfordshire Partnership Trust (health services), and Mencap.
Other people are from employment, district housing, Primary Care Trusts (PCT) who are responsible for the health of the people in the local area, etc.
Service users and family carers are also represented on the Board, as are people from minority ethnic groups.
The Learning Disability Partnership Board has projects groups or sub-groups.
