Where to look for help and advice

A home that's right for you

Restricted use (acs comms) keys to a house Deciding where to live can be difficult.

We will help you find the sort of place that is right for you.

These are some types of housing for you to think about:
  • a flat just for you.
  • a room in a hostel where other people live too.
  • a room in a house or flat which you would share with a few others.
  • living in someone else’s home.
  • living at home with your own family or carers.
We can arrange help wherever you live.

You can get a leaflet or video telling you all about finding a home that is right for you.

To see the leaflet online or get a copy use the link called Adult Care Services Publications and go to the People with Learning Disabilities section.
