Day Services - Learning Disability

Our Aim in Hertfordshire is to improve the quality of life for everyone that uses our services. We want to help people to enjoy fulfilling lives by providing opportunities for people to develop and maintain skills and interests.

Every person using our services has a support plan that is tailored to their individual needs and interests. Each person has a named member of staff as a contact. They are called Link Workers.

Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds. They have extensive training and experience of working with people who have different needs.

Interpreters are available. Information can be provided in a range of styles and languages.

Transport is not automatically provided for people attending a Day Service. Individuals will be assessed to see if any support is needed with travel, and a variety of options will be explored. Where people are able to make their own way to our services they would be expected to do so. Transport will be provided for those unable to make their own way.

Charges A charge is made for using our service and transport. Individuals are assessed for their ability to pay. Charges are also made for meals and other refreshments. Occasionally, extra activities at an additional cost may also be available.
