What do we offer?

The Young in Herts helpline gives information and advice on a wide range of childcare and children’s services in your local area, including:

• Childminders
• Nurseries
• Pre-schools / Playgroups
• Carer and Toddler Groups
• Out of School Clubs
• Holiday Playschemes
• Leisure Services
• Help with childcare costs

As a working parent you may need to tackle a number of issues to get the right balance between work and your family life. CIS aims to offer you the most up-to-date and accurate information available in your area for early years provision (children aged 0 to 5) and childcare for children and young people aged 0 - 14 (0-16 years for children with a disability).

We are open Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. You can call us from anywhere in Hertfordshire for the cost of a local call.
