Childcare Sufficiency Assessment - County and District reports

Hertfordshire County Council have now published the results of the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment that took place last Summer. The 10 district reports and the overall County report are a result of the contribution received from schools, parents and childcare providers.

The future vision - childcare provision for all

Local authorities have a duty to ensure that there is sufficient childcare for all parents who wish to return to work, education or training. Hertfordshire County Council surveyed children, young people, parents and childcare providers in order to assess existing childcare provision, the needs of families and to make the right plans for the future.
