Placement Procedures

There are admission criteria for entry to special schools and to Autism Bases. Each pupil will be placed according to their individual needs. The placement procedures are consistent with those for other pupils in special schools or units in Hertfordshire.

All pupils attending the Autism Base will be full members of the school and will have access to the usual range of educational and social opportunities available to all pupils in the school. It is part of the ethos of all the schools that every pupil is made to feel that they are a part of the school and that they have a lot to offer.
