Money / Benefits Advice

It may be useful for parent/carers and young people to be aware that some benefits change when a young person reaches 16. For advice regarding benefits for disabled young people you can contact the Money Advice Unit on 01992 556370, or find out more by using the link on this page.

Disability Information Bureau (DIB)

The Disability Information Bureau provides information and advice on a vast array of topics, including equipment, transport, benefits, disability rights and sources of support. It is provided by Hertfordshire County Council.

Anyone needing this information - such as a person with a disability, a parent of a disabled child, a carer, or a professional working on behalf of a disabled client - can contact the bureau by telephone, email, post or online.
