Where to look for help and advice

Thinking about adoption?

Adoption is a lifelong commitment. It means providing a permanent home to a child and giving them a chance to fulfil their individual potential. All children need a stable and secure family in which they can grow into adulthood. It is this stability and security that makes adoption such a positive option for the child. When you adopt a child, you take on all the rights and responsibilities for the child that the birth parent had.

For more information about adoption and the process of becoming an adopter, please contact the Hertfordshire Adoption Agency on 0800 917 0925 to receive an information pack.
