Breakaway for Carers

Breakaway for Carers is a free sitting service for carers in Dacorum (including Berkhamsted, Bovingdon and Tring) and St Albans City and District (including Harpenden and surrounding villages). The service is provided through Adult Care Services, but referrals can be made through GP surgeries, voluntary agencies or you can contact us directly.

We enable relatives and friends looking after dependent adults to take breaks, by arranging for someone else to take over for a few hours each week in the person’s home.
