The Mayor of Sawbridgeworth for 2009 / 2010 is Councillor Mrs Angela Alder.
The Sawbridgeworth Town Council also covers the area of Spellbrook to the north and is responsible for the local Cemetery, four allotment sites. It also administers the West Road Public Open Space.
The Town Council is Custodian Trustee of The Hailey Day Centre and both Custodian and Managing Trustee of the Sawbridgeworth Young People's Recreational Centre (both of which are Registered Charities).
Office opening hours: Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
