This new parish council came into effect in April 2000. Its office is at Woolmer Green Village Hall.
The council is responsible for the modern, architect-designed hall (details for the hall can be found in its own web entry), two playgrounds, the football pitch and community land in Mardleybury Road. The pond in New Road is a conservation area, well known for its delightful wildlife.
Woolmer Green Hall is a popular venue licensed for civil weddings, partnerships and naming ceremonies. It is set in a tranquil location with an outdoor play area and ample of parking. The hall can accomodate 150 guests for a large occasion but has two smaller rooms available if you want a more intimate ceremony. Please contact the clerk to arrange an appointment.
