The Chairman of Chipperfield Parish Council is Cllr M Bradshaw.

The responsibilities and concerns of the council include the parish allotments, Chipperfield Common, highways and road safety and affordable housing for local people. Planning issues fault reporting ie. broken utility covers.

There is a monthly magazine 'Chipperfield News', it is distributed to every household.
