By Road
The A119 from Stevenage and A414 from Hatfield go through Hertford. The A10 is nearby. There is car parking at County Hall the visitor's car park is at the front of the building and is signposted from Pegs Lane.

By Rail
There are two railway stations in Hertford: Hertford East (serving Liverpool Street) and Hertford North (trains from Stevenage and the north and Kings Cross/Moorgate). County Hall is approximately 15 minutes walk from Hertford North station and approximately 10 minutes from Hertford East station.

By Bus
